Derived by NASA as an alternative to the cryonic separation method, PSA(Pressure Swing Absorbtion) is a self contained system for the production of high concentration oxygen, using a unique material called Molecular Sieve to separate oxygen from ambient air: Nitrogen and other gases are ejected and oxygen is concentrated and redirected for use. Oxygen level in the ambient air is approximately 21%. PSA oxygen generating systems produce oxygen with the concentration of approximately 92 plus or minus 3%.
O2 Technologie's expertise and engineering experience in oxygen generators have made possible the devlopment of the miniture oxygen generatos that are compact in size, ultra-quiet, and virtually maintenance free due to very few moving parts. These miniture generators, which are the size of an electri toaster, can now be integrated into systems where space is limited and the cumbersome size of oxygen generators has always been a limiting factor.
