Thailand imports white marble from Mandalay N. Burma. When the marble is in Thailand it is then carved into the most stunning Buddhas imaginable. These Buddhas can range in size from 4 inches to many feet high. The Portal Market has a special arrangement with the Xiao Lan White Marble Farm located in Mae Sai, N. Thailand on the Burmese border. The Buddhas are made from grade A marble that is quarried in Burma and transported to Thailand.
Offered here is an exquisite large 10 foot Burmese white marble Buddha with very good detail on the carving. A perfect Buddha for a temple, public garden, or a special sacred place on the land.
