Michel Huygen has been inaugurated by Her Majesty Sophia, the Queen of Spain, to manage the Electronic Music Department of the Queen Sophia Centre in Madrid, as well as being selected to open the Madrid Planetarium with his music.

Between October 1989 and April 190 Michel composed, recorded, and mixed his new solo album "INTIMO", his deepest, most personal and revealing album. A new digital remastering and editing of "INTIMO" was made at Oniria Studios in Barcelona in February of 1996.
Inside the jacket cover are several personal reflections that accompany each track. Attached are sound samples from this track as well as the comments by Michel Huygen.
When I stop the Time
"Time is an extremely fast waterfall, but we are time.Therefore, it is within our power, once in a while, seldom, to stop, to stop the waterfall and so to stop the time, to hold it back.
I try to stop it very often, maybe too often, and, by wanting to hold it back so eargerly, I was almost unable to go ahead.
Imagine a waterfall with a mass of water that never falls down completely.
That flow, that suspended mass of water is, unfortunately my feelings of love and affection, when I stop the time.
Then, I really ask myself a thousand times if it was worth stopping time and having those feelings suspended, because they will never reach their true destination."
