The Hemp and Silk shoulder bag is a very popular. It is made of Hill Tribe hemp which is dyed light tan and black with antique Laotian silk trim in the middle with small brass bells as an accent, and hand carved wooden beads on the draw strings.
The inside is very roomy for all sort of personal effects and is very stylish for any occassion.
The shoulder bag is shown here against a hemp shirt and the shoulder strap has been tied short to display it against the shirt. The bag itself hangs below the waist normally.
In addition to the large central pouch there are also side pockets on the pouch making the shoulder bag ideal for carrying many differnt things.

These small hemp and silk purses are particularly special due to the fact that a piece of Laotian antique silk has been worked onto the flap. The picture on the left is a close up of couple in meditative practices on a mat with another couple having tea in a balcony. The subtlty and workmanship comes from a very well known woman designer in Chang Mai.
The purse itself is only 5 inches square with a small wooden toggle to hold it down. The shoulder cords measures 28",26", and 22"'inches for the piece shown. Soon to follow will be a few more of these unique, and one of kind purses.
